The U12's came out victorious in a 28 - 0 win over Dewsbury Celtic and have sealed a place in the final against Shaw Cross
The first half saw Batley playing uphill on a windy wednesday evening.Celtic defended well to hold back the Batley pressure on their try line . As half time approached Batley finished off a well executed pass down the line to put Joseph Wisher in at the top corner.
At 4-0 half time and the down hill advantage Batley came out firing on all cylinders
Jonah Parsons caught the ball from kick off and stepped his way through the celtic defence to score an 80m try and converted the try to increase the score to 10 - 0 . Oliver Tomlinson
followed up taking a pass 30m out and breaking through the defence to score the next points . Batley were now on a roll and Leon Ruan burst through for two more trys , one of which he went air bound over the top of the defence .
Brilliant defence and strong runs from the forwards help gain territory throughout the game .Lewis Bull earned himself man of the match with an 80m run setting the team up on celtic try line .
The final points came from Tye Ellis who stormed over the line sealing what was one of the best performances this season so far
